Enough is enough to gender based violence

Enough of these broken hearts
This gender based violence is ripping us apart
We cannot bear to see more tears and strife
We must take action and end this plight

Enough of the pain and shame
Enough of the loss and blame
It's time to rise up and make a stand
We must stand together and take a stand

Enough of the sadness, enough of the fear
It's time that we all step up and show we care
It's time we join forces to stop this disease
And combat the violence and hatred with peace

Enough of this anger, this hatred, this rage
Let's replace them with hope for a brighter age
Spread love and compassion with every breath
And help heal the wounds of our gender based death

About this poem

I wrote this poem with sad soul. I'm trying to avoid this bad habit that is torturing and also snatching the lives of many women called gender based violence
