Of Many Things

Too many things to count are now
A part of me today,
Each having changed my life somehow
Though when I cannot say.

Despite the ways they came to be,
They changed at least a part of me;
Intensity as well as strength,
The frequency as well as length,

Have stayed with me for all these years,
Through times both good and bad.
Some led to laughter and to tears,
Oh, what a life I've had!
