Broken

In a universe where love and hate collide,
A tale of passion spun, in verse to confide.
Rays of sunlight kissed the lovers' embrace,
But with them came darkness, in this twisted space.

Intoxication's allure, a dangerous game,
As drunkness clouded their souls, tarnished their name.Tattoos adorned their bodies, telling tales untold,Of a bond once sacred, now choked by hands cold.

Oh, the abuse, a heinous sin,
A love story derailed, breaking from within.
Like a car crash, their trust shattered apart,
And dishonor tainted the fragments of their heart.

But even in chaos, love's embers flicker,
A flicker of hope amidst bitterness' snicker.
For within the wreckage, they found a choice,
To reclaim their dignity, to find a voice.

The death of a marriage, the birth of regret,
A journey of healing, they couldn't forget.
Learning lessons hard, forgiveness to mend,
Leaving behind a broken past, they longed to transcend.

Like a phoenix rising from ashes' embrace,
They sought redemption, freeing tears encased.
In the abyss of their pain, truth's light unfurled,
Guiding them back to love's fragile world.

Hand in hand, they faced shadows without a sound,
Shedding old skin, new promises they found.
Each scar a reminder, etched upon their skin,
Of battles fought, and the strength within.

No longer entwined in a cycle of despair,
They built a union, where respect was their air.
With tender hearts and souls open wide,
They forged a new path, side by side.

For in their tale, they defied destiny's call,
Choosing to rise, to never again fall.
Love and hate collided, they lost the battle, each broke off
