Darkness
Beneath the moonlit sky, where shadows reside,
A tale of darkness, where ravens confide.
Echoes of sadness, whispered by the night,
In a realm of abuse, where hope takes flight.
The raven, a messenger of sorrow and woe,
With feathers as dark as a heart lost, a show.
It caw-caws in anguish, a mournful sound,
Reflecting the pain that still lingers around.
In the depths of despair, wounds deeply scarred,
Haunted by memories, like whispers so hard.
Abuse, a cruel master, preying on the weak,
Leaving souls shattered, fighting to speak.
Silent screams echo, unheard by the world,
In this abyss of darkness, where anguish is swirled.
But amidst the pain, a glimmer of might,
A spark of resilience, ready to ignite.
With strength as their armor, and courage their guide,
Survivors break free, leaving abuse behind.
They spread their wings, like ravens in flight,
Seeking solace and healing, embracing the light.
Though the scars remain, a reminder so real,
They find strength in survival, a newfound zeal.
The darkness they faced, they turn into power,
Blossoming like roses from a barren bower.
This dark poetry, a testament to pain,
Highlighting the struggles, the tears like rain.
But within the darkness, there's a flame to ignite,
A journey towards healing, towards finding respite.
So let the ravens sing their melancholy song,
For in their cries, strength and resilience belong.
In this ode to darkness, a glimmer of hope,
For those who've endured, helping them cope.
