The Eternal War of Despair

Heart of gold, hair like wool
lost eclipses in a place that you stole
 burns the night
 forget my life
chaos has engulfed me
Insanity!
Insanity!
Insanity!

life has draped me
in cloths of color
I cannot surrender
I cannot remember
this life I lead
I know I plead
Help me, help me, help me

Gold skin that glimmered, butterflies
I can't stand to face it. I coincide.
Turn my back to the moon
It is time to leave soon.

I sit beside myself, looking out
Uncertainty beholds me
I walk alongside myself.
Drawn with Regret

Regrets that have made me into a fool
With a heart of gold that you stole
I decided to no longer do what I'm told
I walk alone. Gold skin,
Butterflies
Withered away inside.
Fallen with the embers of regret

I walk alone - dignified
I cannot say that I've given a lie
I just coincide
Separate from my own mind
Delusion is an art

I set off, burns the night
I won't give up without a fight
I only walked towards the light
Glows my skin, now a color white
Find me on the otherside.

The waves are full of turmoil
I can't catch my breath
Departed before the tidal waves headed in
I know no matter what I don't win
My soul over yours
Split inside of my mind
I have lost so much time
Always in the back of my mind
Dignified

 moving closer to the stench
 of burning carcasses
I can't take much more of this.

cowardice actions set out by the masses
stuck in the twilight's gleaming static
lost in a sea of flickering blue crustaceans
No more, no more, no more

designed to crash a ship in this sea of failure
grab the raft that is airless
look to the sky that shines red
 it is always night.

The sole purpose of survival
Is to face the fact that you will die
Whether or not you are memorialized
You have lived a life of defeat.

The war that doesn't end
Always ends with you
