Hopeless romantic

Many people fall in love for many reasons and often choose why they stayed
Reality is not that simple; sometimes complicated often frustrating in so many ways
To be someone's reason why they're smiling again after their previous relationship went astray
Knowing what the future lies is something we should have to wait & see on display

Not saying I'd solved every issue from the ghost from your past
I'm my own person and have my own set of quirks and kinks but Im made to last
To say you are perfect is probably cliché at this point and borderline du deja vu
No one is and to accept  the "You" entirely from my point of view

Maybe we aren't on the same page at the time being from what you want in a relationship
To be your captain trying to navigate through the rigorous waves is quite a road trip
Sometimes I wonder if all this time & energy consumed is worth all the effort...

With the kind of love that spans the ocean wide to come up close but short =/

They say the kindest people are often the most lonely of souls
Giving all their love way but their heart is one big empty hole
That person needs to put themselves first because no one can replace you
Pick themself backup reset reassess and learn from the miscue

Being alone is not a bad thing but like everyone; my reason is as good as the next one in line
Stack em all up and let them fall below; someday someone would love to be mine
Until my time comes and someone wants to place their bets on a hopeless romantic
I'm staying true to my authentic self no bs nothing fake no magic tricks

it's all me.
