Phantom Love

You are my phantom love,
never are you seen,
yet are often thought of,
wherever you have been,
Not knowing where you are,
should I count my lucky stars?
If you have gone unto the beyond,
you can never break a heart again,
though these months have been long,
I would be happy to no longer be in pain,
you can not cheat in a prideful fall,
it would be as if you did not exist at all,
and I could move on at last,
not ever looking again at the past,
and the time I have put into you would be buried too,
