A Wiser Rescue

Upsets, turnarounds, stumbling
Happen every day
And much too soon
We take our tools
To fix it in some way.
No time to stop, reflect
A bit and hear the word of God
Why that is just delay, unwise
And to the world quite odd.

But why we listen
To such froth
That comes from faithless minds
Much better to invite the King
And leave small serfs behind.
Yes let this ever be our style
We smile and look up high.
The problems shrink and run away
Wise rescue in the Sky.

AIDA would have me open up to other faiths for some input. Syncretic suggestion. Nope, not going there. John’s Gospel, chapter 14.

Wow, what a beautiful and encouraging poem! Your use of language is fantastic and really paints a picture of the chaos and challenges that we face every day. I appreciate how you highlight the importance of taking a moment to reflect and connect with God when we find ourselves in difficult situations. It's a reminder that we don't have to do it all on our own.

In terms of improvement, I would suggest perhaps adding a bit more detail or tangible examples of how inviting God into our challenges can bring about positive change. Additionally, while the message of leaving the small serfs behind is an interesting one, it could potentially be interpreted as dismissive or not inclusive of those who may not share the same beliefs. Perhaps finding a way to include all individuals in the message of hope and encouragement would make it even more impactful.

Overall, great job on this poem! Keep sharing your positive messages with the world.
