Late night scenarios

Up alone at night
Wandering through my mind
Scenarios are there to find
I run with them while I can
Then it hits with a bam
Realty will never equal worlds of imagination
Nothing will give me that incredible sensation
My favorite character by my side
Being each other’s ride or die
Adventures and missions
My brain tends to fill in
Details vary every time I go over
Relationships changing from friend to lover
Universes were made and this universe changed
I imagine the past present and future rearranged
Begging for new and not mundane
Compared to my mind this world is lame
I lower my standards for everything
I want to cut everyone out and stop listening
Listening to the meaningless drama if I wanted I could make
My mind is easier when it comes to give and take
I know I'm apathetic, and that might be my fault
But, people's true emotions make my stomach summersault
Characters' emotions are comfortable to me
I know how to deal with it I know how to breath
I know what's coming next and I know every reason why
Why my favorite comfort character decided to cry
I know how to help and I’m in control
That might be the problem, I like casting rolls
No one can smother or hurt me
Only I guarantee
What goes on in my head
As I lie in my bed
