Love's Departure

Zeno Walker 2005 (Saharanpur, Uttarpradesh)

In the stillness of my heart, a love once thrived,
A bond that was pure, and so deeply alive.
But now, my heart is barren, and so cold,
For my love, my dearest girlfriend, has left this mortal fold.

The memories of her smile, so warm and bright,
Her laughter, her touch, her radiance of light,
They haunt me still, like ghosts from the past,
A love that was strong, and so steadfast.

But now she's gone, and I'm left to weep,
A love that was lost, in a moment so steep.
My heart, once so full, is now a void,
A love that's departed, a soul that's devoid.

And yet, her memory lingers on,
In the songs of the birds, in the missed call on my phone.
In the beauty of the world, and the stars above,
I see her face, in all its glory and love.

Oh, my dearest , how much I miss you,
How I long you to hold me , and set my spirit free.
But now you are gone, and I'm left to mourn,
A love that's lost, in the darkness of the dawn.

So let this be a tribute, to the love we shared,
To the memories we made, and the moments we cared.
And though she's gone, she'll always remain,
A love that's lost, but never in vain.
