Witness

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

Blind one moment, now I can see,
The Lord has come and set me free.
His glory that was once kept hidden,
Is now no longer for my eyes forbidden.

The wonders of His amazing grace,
The curves and lines upon His face,
With my hand now I can trace,
As His holy presence I embrace.

Oh, how the joy flows out from me,
His passion and kindness I must be.
To reach out to the souls so lost,
And bring them back at any cost.

Yes, from the Lord, this is my mission,
By the love of Christ my soul condition.
So, if you’ve been hungry and now you’re wishing,
Then come with me and let’s go fishing.
