Our World and Jesus

Our World and Jesus

What's happening to our World
Folks have lost their minds,
This meanness, cruelty and hatefulness
We try to leave behind.

God gave his only son
To relieve us of our sins,
But with all these sins of violence
Will he still let us in?

People better look around
And see what they've become,
Cold, bitter and heartless
Seem like the devil's son.

We all will face our maker
On our judgement day,
I hope he sees inside my heart
And says I'm worthy to stay.

So get your hearts together
Stop worrying what others do,
All this gossip and worrying bout them
You best be worried bout you.

Love one another
That's what we're supposed to do,
Pink, purple or polka-dot
We're all brother's and sister's too.

We only have one maker
And he gives us all his love,
We just have to accept it
So we make it up above.

About this poem

This is so how I see our World these days there is way to much judgement and condemning and not enough love and understanding.
