A Thirst for Love

O Lord I am on my hands and knees.
My Lord it’s You I seek to please.

I came here with the water from earth.
So, you might quench your mighty thirst.

You said: Its love that I thirst for;
Upon the earth, My wrath I’ll pour.

They would not come; though I had called.
So now they will all be appalled.

To see for them, what might have been.
But now will not because of sin.
