The Pastor Sins

The arrogant words of prideful men
I do not seek for my praise
But only what my LORD approves
Because He is the One who saves

He does not look upon the outward
But goes straight to the heart
He won’t judge by what your checkbook says
But why you stop and start

A man is not a Christian
When he outwardly looks pure
But when he loves his enemies
And seeks to help the poor

Circumcision of the heart my love
Is really all that matters
Don’t listen to a shepherd who
Looks good but only scatters
