Sooner or Later

One day I will rejoice in death
When that death is my own
When all my flesh has been consumed
And I’m on my way home

I’ll hear the angels singing
As we stand around the throne
My wife, my brothers and my friends
And all that He has known

The God of heaven and the earth
Is still alive today
We only live to serve Him
And He teaches us His ways

Then when the lesson is complete
Our suffering will end
For we shall be as children
Just out playing with our friends

We’ll sing and dance around the throne
Of Jesus who has saved us
The perfect Lamb, our sacrifice
By His blood He redeemed us
