Lost

there comes a time in life
where we decide what's real
or what we feel is not
Where do I go from here?

do I put myself out there
or do I just shut myself down
does it never end in my mind?
the thoughts that run through

I know what my worth is within
I know I'm worth more then that
but when it comes to this life
I need to take charge of my own

what is good for me isn't for all
sometimes I just need to escape
from everything that lies in front of me
I need to just go do me for awhile

I feel like I'm trapped with no way out
with no where to hide and out in the open
with darkness that tries to come in
the question remains where do I go??
