Dad

Cynthia novotny 1984 (Wilmington de)

When I think of our wonderful fathers
I thank them for everything they’ve done
they don’t have to be blood related to you
As long as they do you right with kindness

they are big supporters in our lives for us
Just like our moms they love us unconditionally
We turn to them for advice when we need it
they try to listen and do the right things for us

We have some dads out there that do it alone
There isn’t always a mom to guide the way
So our single dads also try there best for us
They sometimes play both roles for their kids

I appreciate everything that you have done
You gave me a better life then what I had
you took me under your wings with love
I feel you have made a difference with me

I’ll always feel grateful to have you around
Your love and kindness won’t go unnoticed
I will always remember everything you’ve done
for you will always be one of heroes on my life
