LOVE will be your Lifeguard

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

You’ll never find love
Until love has found you
You’ll never know truth
Unless you are true blue
The ocean is deep
And the river is wide
And you can’t walk with God
If you’re walking in pride
What are you proud of?
Why should you boast?
When you lift up your glass
Tell me, what will you toast?

Your victory means nothing
When you trample another
That’s the way you treat God
When you don’t love your brother

Jesus died for your sins
When you did not believe
So, then what do you have?
That you did not receive
If you will not forgive
Then you won’t be forgiven
So, let’s cancel their debts
And then we can start living
Still waters run deep
But you still have the tide
Don’t get stuck in the current!
Don’t be drowned in your pride!

There is a LIFE guard on duty! His name is Jesus!
