Trust Issues

never found someone
who i could truly trust
everytime i come close
they find someone else
it’s almost like the universe
is against me being with anyone at all
everytime i’m ready to try again
it’s crushed with a better version
i wish someone would just feel the same
come around and see the further me
yet everytime it’s crushed as someone else
is far better than i’ll ever be
