Christmas without you

Christmas time is here again
And I feel that I just won't fit in,
I have no cheer, or smiling face
Just making it through, by gods grace.

           No holidays
     Have been the same,
      Since you've gone
      Everythings changed.

      I struggle with life
      Day after day,
      I try to be strong
      But nothing goes my way.

      I want to scream
At the top of my lungs,
      God why my son
       He was so young.

      I wonder sometimes
      What I've done,
      For god to have taking
      My sweet sweet son.

      I know I shouldn't
      Feel this way,
      I know exactly
      What you would say.

      Those tears won't bring
       Me back dear mom,
       I know you miss me
       But i have gone.

       I know you wonder
       Where's gods grace,
        But just remember
        To keep your faith.

         I know it's hard
         But if you do,
         In the end
         I'll be waiting for you.

          So give a smile
           Or shed a tear,
           But never forget
            I'm always near.

About this poem

Losing a child is every parents worst fear, it is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. This is how I feel, and this is my way of not keeping it bottled up inside. I hope it can help other grieving parents.
