House of cards

Pin Lim 1982 (Montreal)

House of cards

Stepping back through the doors once more into a new direction
Hoping the game gets easier with a better card selection
Maybe the previous round I had the deck stacked up set too high
Didnt played my hand right and lost everything and was left out to dry

Cant do much anymore but to reshuffle the cards and try again
Loving someone new is never easy sometimes its unforgiving
For someone like me that lacks the skillsets like those big players
The ladiesman of the world or the common womanizers

Study these men and leave out the player but keep a poker face
Competition is strong with lots of contenders I'll need to hide my ace
Aiming for the queen for they all wish to be crowned king someday
I'd rather stay true to myself follow my path and do things my way

Not wanting to play a dangerous game of poker and show my hand
And end up with a joker so instead I'm taking my time with a plan
Don't want to waste another opportunity by playing cat & mouse
For I am one of a kind while you probably have a full house

Maybe those might have a better draw or good at bluffing
But I'm not ready to fold if I know the possibility its all or nothing
More the risktaker but my intentions are clear from the beginning
For you there's only one outcome if you choose me

Are you all in?
