Free verse
My mind is heavy right now
I wanna scream inside right now
But who is there to hear me
speak on how I feel inside.

I'm scared and angry inside
I'm calling out for help here
Please father come to me
save me from this nightmare.

I look up to you above
please send me to the light
where I'm at peace here
Please protect me on earth.

Please keep my family safe
from any harm that can be done
Please don't let anyone hurt them
Please keep them under thy wings.\

So I pray to you lord almighty
Let them know I truly care
Please let them know I'm here
Please let them know that they are loved.
