Analysis of So Close
I stare at the clear and star lit sky.
A meteor streaks downward to the earth
So close, so close I reach out,
I want to capture its brilliance,
So I can share it with you.
Two owls swoop down from an oak tree.
They abandon their lofty perch.
So close, so close I reach out,
I want to capture their beauty,
So I can share it with you.
Moonlight caresses all that it touches.
I close my eyes, thinking of you.
So close, so close I reach out,
I want to capture this moment,
So I can share it with you.
I open my eyes still thinking of you.
A fantasy that will never come true.
So close, so close I reach out,
I want to capture my dream
So I can share it with you.
