Analysis of Macrocapa
Proudly it stands
midst houses of wood,
Guess its beginning
I wish I could,
Over the years
it has seen much,
Yet in time
what can it touch.
Oh the elements
have characterised it well,
How it protected
people that there dwell,
Waiting for buses
sheltering from the rain,
Who can forecast,
how long it'll remain?
In College Road
right near the shops,
A shelter shed,
where each bus stops,
Note the girth
also size and height,
Truly it's inspiring
what a mighty sight !
“Written after seeing this magnificent tree standing alone but ever so proudly. Worthy of documentation as in a poem- for posterity.”
