Analysis of Colour Prevails
Please, do not build
Your hopes
On my life
It is already
Pieces of itself
And broken
My life journey was
And is on the thorns
My feet are powerless
And wounded
I see cruelty
I hear the cries
I breathe sorrow
I smell, pain
I drink the tears
Even that
My lips are dry
I am speechless
With sinking heartbeats
I feel the hands of hatred
Have reached around me
The colour prevails.
