Analysis of Ocean View

I looked from the cliff,
down the foaming waves,
the ominous clouds--
in slow and threatening pace.
The beach-- abandoned, wet, dreary,
no seagulls in sight, nor sandpipers busy,
just winds, unleashed
and fiercely moaning,
as if nature was angry and foreboding.

Then, suddenly, wings--
wide and circling--
they moved lower
where the waters were crushing.
A hawk,  alone, bold and majestic
was making his rounds-- slowly descending--
he was flying above the mighty ocean,
mightier still, in his freedom and motion.
