Analysis of The old woman of beauty
On the beautiful island of Ireland
She was born- a medium sized female
Whose person reflected the loving
Nature of Our Creator.
From early in life she had received
The looks of many, male and female,
For this colleen was a sight to behold
At any time of the day or the night.
Often referred to as ‘The Rose’
There were many in the field of life
Who sought her company, even her hand
In marriage, and the latter eventually came.
When it arrived it was unbelievable and the
Reality of God given love ensured a joy and
A peace beyond comparison for a Gael who
Strolled with beauty into the forest of aging.
A happening which endorses the often
Expressed statement of: ‘it is good to be alive’!
Thus, appreciating the gift of life from our
Creator which comes from His nature which is ‘love’.
