Analysis of To Our Beloved Eucharist

Oh, Lord Jesus, you are our food
As You expressed to those who
Represented our species on the
Day prior to Your Crucifixion.

Creation followed by Redemption
What more could anyone expect?
In fact, it is beyond thought to
Grasp the reality of Your gift.

The reality of what we receive
Is beyond comprehension - the
The sharing of Mary’s Son, the
Eternal Word of salvation.

So we thank you, oh loving Saviour,
For your wonderful gift of Yourself,
The Sacrament of Your love and
The Source of eternal life.

And, as our mortal years pass it is our
Intention to visit You where You reside,
In adoration and in thanksgiving and
Preparation for what is life eternal.
