Analysis of The Dipper
Wren shaped
And sturdy legged
Upon local rocks.
Singing with short
High grating and
Explosive notes.
A rapid flying-
Low but direct.
Plunging and
Swimming on
Or under in search
Of flies and fish eggs,
Etcetera.
A daily task
In order to survive
As a beauty of
Our waterways.
