The baby of salvation

The baby born at Bethlehem
Derived from God’s Holy Spirit
And a Jewish virgin called Mary
Who replied “Yes” to a request
From Our Father conveyed by
Gabriel an Archangel…
~
Named Jesus- in translation
The ‘Saviour’- an indication
Of his role in life, his Father
Because of his nature of love
Willed the birth to be the
Source Of human salvation.
~
Unfortunately arising from the great
Gift of ‘freedom of will’ evil was born
Via an angelic being confirmed as a
Creature who sought to replace
The Creator of all.
~
The present presentation is the answer
To the question- “What’s it all about? ”.
A truth for years under an attack within
The field of science, the bogs of atheism,
And to a lesser extent the doubt of the
Agnostic. The latter laying the basis for
The birth of secularism, conservatism,
Communism, and so on.
~
Thus, we must stand up in our unbelieving
World and bear witness to our faith which
Allows us to share in the mission of Christ
And his body the Church. To be like Jesus
Who after his anointing by the Holy Spirit
Went forth on his mission to set the world
On fire - of course not literally!
