Analysis of Forever To Shine

Starting on the emotional freeway,
  I stayed between the double lines

But traveling beyond the factual byway,
  I hitchhiked through my mind

Passing each word going north or south,
  and then driven to what I might find

I journeyed alone far into the night,
  headlight’s once dark, now forever to shine
