Analysis of Did You Ever Vanish?
When you were young did you once feel
Invisible and not quite real?
Did words you spoke fall to the ground
Or maybe they just bounced around
The walls and rooms that could not care,
Like people who wish you weren't there!
It's hard to ever like yourself
As parents put you on a shelf
When they don't care in ways that show,
For reasons you will never know!
And so you think it must be true
That no one truly cares for you!
