Analysis of Nobody
Robert Catron 1963 (Kansas)
Nobody cares how much you know till they know how much you care,
Have you ever given someone your heart - only to find out - for you they're not there?
I know I've felt alone - we've all been there a time or two,
Yet - we still love them - have we been left without a clue?
So we go on each day giving all of our hearts thru love and care,
But when you're down on your luck - will anyone for us be there?
Chances are slim - caring people today are hard to find,
Most just hurt our hearts - and cause heaviness to weigh on our mind.
So if you need a true friend - that won't leave you high and dry,
Look up to the heavens - reach out your hands - and lift your heart to the sky.
For when you need him most - he's always right there in your heart,
He will be there for you right from the very start.
So if people have hurt you and left you feeling blue,
Turn your hearts to the Lord - He will be there for you!
