The Never Ending Love Story...The Life of Bobby & Boogy

He sat one day and thought - now looking back on his life,
Many years ago as a young child - he had already chosen his wife.
They met up every summer and played on her farm all day in the sun,
Never meaning any harm to anyone - they were just kids having fun.

An extremely strong bond was formed between that young boy and girl,
Their friendship had turned into love and their young hearts gave it a whirl.
They loved spending time together and having the kind of fun kids did back then,
Their worlds were wrapped around each other - never thinking about it might end.

But their parents didn't see it their way and began to try and keep them apart,
They did everything that parents do to stop how they felt for each other from the start.
They had his little brothers spy on them - going back and telling what they had seen,
They just wanted to be happy together - why did everyone always have to be so mean?
They had been best friends since day one and it lasted them for many, many good years,
But their parents just weren't seeing it - trying to tear them apart causing tears.

The parents had lied to each of them trying to turn them against each other,
Picking the day to spring this on both of them - the day the girl had to bury her mother.
They were like two halves of one whole - complete - brought together by time,
What they felt for each other to them - didn't seem like it was a crime.
They had been best friends who had fallen in love can't you see,
Why was it so wrong for their parents - isn't this how true love was meant to be?
They never caused any trouble - they just did as kids will do,
Couldn't their parents see how happy they were - didn't they even have a clue?

They had chosen each other - from day one - to them it was clear,
They loved each other unconditionally - but hid their love in fear.
Always sneaking off together - they had no worries it would seen,
But the day had come for their parents to completely crush their dream.
Each of their parents had told lies to them - bringing it to an end,
Not caring or realizing - they had just cost each of them - their only friend.
They had now been forced to live their lives separate - but torn apart,
For them it was like going thru the motions - living without a heart.

They each married other people - trying to do exactly what they were told,
Trying to find a source of warmth in a world that for them had turned cold.
Failed marriage after failed marriage - the truth had become to real,
Neither one of them could find a love that they could truly feel.
They had both been thru so much - inside they could feel what was lost,
Their parents had destroyed their futures - they each had lived the cost.

Time continued to pass - thirty years had come and gone by,
But neither one of them had ever let go - for them - God was gonna try.
Bobby was buying time until he saw light thru the long storm,
One by one death had come - leaving behind it's time to mourn.
The time had come - all of their parents had passed on and were not here,
He had to find her once more - and reveal his love for her clear.

He had searched all over till there was no end in sight,
But he would never let go - nor would he give up the fight.
And so it happened - he had found her - and left a message one day,
Would she remember their love - or simply turn him away?
The hours seemed liked days - the days seemed to turn into years,
Would she remember their love and together they could wipe away the tears?

She contacted him in January of 2014 - and completely blew his mind,
He had so much that he wanted to say - but the words he couldn't find.
I guess you could say he was shocked - he never thought this day would be,
After all of the years apart from each other - their love - you could still see.
They talked back and forth for months - sometimes for hours it would seem,
Slowly the truth began to appear - they weren't living in a dream
They both still had all of these feelings that had been locked away for years,
Feelings of love, hurt, & anger had filled their hearts with many tears.
They had talked thru everything that had taken place and it had set them free,
It was up to them this time - if true love was meant to be.

They both had decided they'd talked enough - it was time to meet.
Each had their own fears of what might of happened that day,
But when their eyes met - in each other arms they just faded away.
If she would've turned him away - he could see his hearts suicide,
But they held onto each other for dear life - oh the tears their hearts cried.

They are back together now - living as one heart against it all,
Picking up where they left off - but now they're standing tall.
Both had aged some as they had gone thru all the tough years,
But neither one cared as they held onto each other and wiped away tears.
Their love for each other is stronger now than it ever was before,
Unconditional love means looks don't matter to the heart - whenever you shut the door.

So if you look up north in the cold dark of the night,
You'll see their love shining - brighter than a star's light.
Each new day passes now - as they mould into years,
They no longer have to worry about facing any tears.
Their lives together are filled with much happiness - in each others arms,
Proving you don't need money to be truly happy - or expensive charms.

Will it last - some of the people might ask and say,
There's always those people who wonder which one will stray?
Only time will tell - as they slowly prove them all wrong,
Along destiny's path they walk together - like the words of a song.

So next time you're wondering if love is worth a try,
Look up into the clouds and let God give you the reason why.
Because once in a while there is a never ending love story,
So be thankful for all that God blesses you with - and to Him be the glory!
