Analysis of Love Yourself
Love Yourself
To love is to love
Of yourself, and you are beautiful
To love is to be strong
In yourself, when feeling weak and pitiful
To love is to live
Being yourself, never giving up, always
thankful
To love is to give
Of yourself, showing gratitude, always thoughtful
To love is to bare
Of yourself, heart and soul, never gullible
To love is to show you care
About yourself, to live to be truly successful
To love is to believe
In yourself, to remain honest and truthful
To love is to receive
Of yourself, and the mistakes unforgivable
To love is to cry
To yourself, only you can share what is painful
To love is to say goodbye
Loving yourself, because you are beautiful

About this poem
I wrote this poem when I was very young and going thru a very hard time. I wrote this poem. It won another contest and they asked if I wanted it in a book. I didn’t have the money so it never got published. I would love for that to happen. I keep it posted on my bulletin board and read it daily.
