Analysis of Goodbye my love
Goodbye my love, goodbye to you. There were many good times, but now we’re through.I cheated, I lied,I manipulated for you.And more than once ,I almost even died for you.I put you before anything else,my kids,my ffamily,God,myself. Its hard to leave you,we’ve been together so long but goodbye drugs,,it’s time to move on.

About this poem
This poem is about me getting sober after living some years on drugs. They wanted us to write a letter saying goodbye to our addiction while I was in a treatment center.I wrote a poem instead& these words just flew out of me.
