While in treatment years ago I was asked to write a letter saying goodbye to my addiction of drugs.I wrote this poem in my rehab in the mountains and the words just fliwed out of me.They hung it in the hallway of the rehab for many years and said bye “we hope we don’t see you back”& they didn’t.Im a clean and sober grandmother of 6 who lost my daughter to addiction 2 years ago.Thank you.im in the red coat!
