Analysis of Musikdirecteur W. Rübner

Hans Christian Andersen 1805 (Odense) – 1875 (Copenhagen)

Din Vuggegænge blev sat i Gang,
Hvor Haydn, Gluck og Mozart sang;
Men Arnen, hvor Dit Huusliv groer,
Er under Bøgen frisk og stor
I Danevang. Led Sønnens Haand,
Mens over ham gaaer Sangens Aand,
At han dit Navn i sit maa skjære
I Træets Bark, til Slægtens Ære.
