Analysis of Sarah is my name

Sarah is my name

Hi, I'm Sarah and this is the story of how my name came to be,
But also, how the meaning of my name doesn't define who I, Sarah, yep me wants to be,
Sarah is my name, it supposedly means a lady, a noble woman a princess of multitude,
But that doesn't summarize the characteristics that over time I've accrued,
Yet my name is still Sarah, even if I'm not ladylike of noble birth, royalty in a big manor house,
Now religiously or more accurately biblically Sarah is the name of Abrahams spouse,
However, it wasn't always princess and tiaras,
As stated in the Book of Genesis in the beginning,
Sarah was named Sarai, which translated means contentious, not exactly a name that's winning,
Or one that embodies an elegant princess, more like she's an annoying argumentative democrat,
Moving on Sarah is still my name and after reading that I'm rather glad it is imagine that,
Thankfully God changed Sarai's name to Sarah 'AKA princess' As a greater blessing to Sarah,
God said unto Abraham, as for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah,
And there we have it; my name is still Sarah and that's the story of how thy Namath was birthed
Spoken from the lips of the top guy himself Mr G.O.D, he potentially created the name Sarah first,
I've always been a Sarah so maybe there is a little bit of a princess somewhere in there,
Or am I this Sarah, which In Muslim translates to the “bringer of happiness” “cause of joy”
Or am I a quirky part princess that spreads joy resulting in smiling happy people, oh boy!
Oh gosh I'm an absolute utter delight, maybe Sarah isn't so bad after all's said and done,
I think I'll keep it and make my very own version of Sarah; it would be the one and only one,
I like the idea of being the bringer of happiness, and the cause of joy and fun,
I think the ball gowns and tiaras could go back to Sarah and Abraham, maybe just keep the odd one
You know for a bit of fun,
Sarah is my name, it means I am just me, I'm no polished princess or a lady I'm neither none,
I'm just some smiles some laughter and some jazz hands of joy,
But most importantly I 'am all the characteristics that life has bestowed upon me to not only enjoy,
But also, the bad and the ugly, but mix it all up and you get the one and only Sarah and I'm the real McCoy.

(Obviously depending on your own beliefs etc I'm not stating God created the name Sarah as fact please no offense is meant and I pray none is taken)

About this poem

The meaning of my name, but how that doesn't define who I am, just a bit of fun looking at where, how and who my name was potentially created.
