Analysis of To My Brother

To my brother, Thomas,
Your smile was full of life and light,
Your wit and humor brought us all joy,
And your promise to care for us was always in sight.

I will always cherish the memories we shared,
Your love and laughter filled our lives,
Your memory lingers in our hearts,
And in our tears, your spirit thrives.

Without the courage to say I love you,
We insult ourselves with love,
But you never held back your affection,
And your kindness was a gift from above.

You left us too soon,
But your light will never fade,
For in our memories, you live on,
And in our hearts, you'll always be saved.

Though we miss you every day,
We find comfort in the love you gave,
And in the hope that we'll meet again,
Where you are, our love will pave.

Rest in peace, dear Thomas,
We'll never forget your smile,
For in our hearts, you'll always be,
My first husband, my brother, my guide.
