Analysis of Cadiz
Hans Christian Andersen 1805 (Odense) – 1875 (Copenhagen)
Som store, grønne Fuglebuur,
Hængt ud paa Husets hvide Muur,
Altanerne her prange,
Saa pene og saa mange,
I Høiden, paa det flade Tag;
De tørre Vask bestemt hver Dag,
Her hersker Reenligheden,
Foroven og forneden.
Ja søndagsklædt seer Cadiz ud,
Men kjedelig, Du gode Gud!
Og var her ikke Havet,
Saa heller strax begravet.
