Analysis of The fight within

Everything seems so powerless, I feel supressed,

Sitting on my kneels with screaming voices inside my head,

Tired of battling the demons inside and out,

Wounded by the pain, full of self-doubt;

Choking on my own breath, I close my eyes,

I see impenetrable darkness and loneliness,

Completely drained out and suffocated,

Emotionless and cold with self-hatred,

But all of a sudden, I see a ray of light,

With newly filled hope, I stood up with all my might;

All the scattered voices channelled into one,

Peaceful than ever, and with new motivation;

I opened my eyes and felt pleasure unexperienced,

I was awestruck with the beauty around me,

Admiring the newly found happiness, I realise,

Faith was the answer to my endless cries.
