Analysis of US
Sharon OConnell 1971 (Massachusetts)
The world is in a scare when our freedom is at stake.
Never knowing when the bridge was gonna break.
The very simple pleasure of living life in peace
has been stolen from our hearts right under our feet.
I believe in God in Heaven above
who sent us here with intentions of love.
We always lend our hand and try to keep peace.
Knowing right from wrong is the freedom we keep.
So much heartache, so many tears,
so many loved ones taken from their years.
The sorrow we have and the pain we feel
will never leave our hearts but only make us kneel.
We will pull through and come together strong.
We will not lose our freedom from which we belong.

About this poem
This poem is about 911. This tragedy was life changing and devastating for everyone in the US. We pulled through together, stayed strong and united. This heart-wrenching event challenged the US but proved that "We will not loose our freedom from which we belong."
