Analysis of Out of my head
Tired and weak, yet struggling to sleep
I can’t get these thoughts out of my head
Withdrawn and emotionless, I feel boxed in
Drowning in sorrow, shame and estranged
I know it’s not right but
I can’t get these thoughts out of my head
I fake my existence for my family subsistence
If it was only me, it’d be simple to be free
I can’t get these thoughts out of my head
Short tempered, grumpy and blunt
I hate who I’ve become, negative, pessimistic - a complete and utter …
I can’t get these thoughts out of my head
Purpose is process, belonging has fled
Who am I, what is this, everything has changed
I can’t get these thoughts out of my head
Strangers pass by, the world goes on
We are mere mortals, passing through
Does it matter how long, the end is the same
I can’t get these thoughts out of my head
