Analysis of The Clouds are Absent
Mai William Bemsii Junior 1996 (Foumban)
Months already
The soil is tilled
Seeds are planted
They await the clouds.
The cattle is up the hill
The sheep is on the farm
They have stopped grazing
They need dehydration
They want digestion
They await the clouds.
Tired of crying and praying
Fowls have become dumb
Dogs are now bony
Dust is tick and fleshy
They hope for some drops
Yet, no where to be found
They await the clouds.
Heads towards heaven
No clouds in the sky
Death is somewhere resting
The torment is everlasting
All hopes are gone
The clouds are absent!
