Analysis of solitude
Muneer Majid 1977 (srinagar)
Lying in my comfort,
I curl and sway !
The pain in my heart,
just won’t go away !
The sweets taste bitter
and mouth gets numb !
Stars; when I reach them,
the sky goes dumb !
Resting by the brook,
makes brook go dry !
and then a random whisper,
boys don’t cry !
Waking from the stupor,
after a long wait !
As I try to move,
I lose my gait !
The night is dark,
It all seems far !
Left there is an,
oozing scar!
Being my own antagonist,
my thoughts go rude !
Welcome my dear,
welcome to my solitude!!!
