Analysis of The Painter
Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)
Working and slaving and toiling away
Night after night and day after day
What is the reason for all of your stress?
Are you trying to get rich or simply depressed?
The answer I think can be found in the Scripture
The Word of the LORD paints a mighty fine picture
If you’ll just stay in it and read everyday
Take to heart what you read and simply obey
What room will there be for the hate and displeasure?
When your home is now filled with valuable treasure
Watch as your worries and cares flee away
When you walk in obedience every day!
I love you sweetheart, obey the Word of God.
