Analysis of Deprivation

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

So many we are.
Blessed in a unique place.
To live with freedoms given.
And entitlements received.
Whether to earn or not.
Still we continue to live,
Unsatisfied and spoiled.
Isolated and distant in an existence,
Free to delude and fiction...
Images kept and made to worship.
With them to believe,
Envied and threatened.
By those also native born.
And many with evidence,
They are neither immigrants nor peasants.
But...
Insisting are those,
Who may have peasant and immigrant...
Ancestors.
They are above all others.
Who appear different in color.
And this ethnic diversity to observe and see,
Should be disparaged or left better ignored.

'What rights do they have,
To believe themselves equal?
And rights to entitlements.
Easily identifiable they do not deserve!'

Your argument is not only ridiculous.
But also reeks of discrimination.
Bigotry and racism.
Not to mention an hypocrisy.
That is nowhere stated in the constitution.
And besides...
Who believes they should have the right,
To defend and fight...
Over their delusions to keep them fictioned!

'Okay.
Let's say,
Your assessment may be true.
But still what is being done to condone,
Has nothing to do...
With a documented constitution.
That hints to include a democracy too.
And...
Commendable,
Are your comments made.
Almost approaching common sense they are.
To have it and use.
However...
The ones who can afford,
To advertise, market and sell...
Their version of truth and its reality?
This has nothing to do,
With a documentation or its proof.'

'Really? Is it?'

What do you mean, IS IT!

'What is going on,
Is nothing more than illegal deprivation.
Marketed to those unconscious.
Just to keep the elite kept to thrive on it.'

And...
Your point to make is what?

'Check it out.
We live in a capitalistic, materialized society.
Is that documented anywhere,
To prove this entitlement...
Is given freely for everyone to enjoy?
And those who got the bucks,
Could give a...
Caring of less,
Of who 'has' or 'HAS NOT'.
And...
Guess what?'

'You can believe whatever,
Pennies you have in your pocket.
Those who have the bucks,
Will come to take those pennies.
With a doing to keep your mouth shut!'

Oh?
But...
That's not how I interpret, democracy!

'Please.
Can you afford to buy both of us,
A sandwich and a cup of coffee?'

At these skyrocketing prices?
Who can afford,
One sandwich and a half cup of coffee...
To share that!?

'And you call me,
Delusional?
One who fictions truth?
That's all I have left,
Democracy and the freedoms of it...
Has allowed me to afford.'

Will you stop,
Embellishing your exaggerations!

'You know...
I'm willing to bet,
I am not the only one left...
Trying to get more credit,
On debits...
I can't convince my creditors,
No longer can I afford to pay.'

'I have.
But that kind of wealth,
To believe I have it stashed?
Will never happen.'

Come on.
Stop being so negative!

'Negative?
I was born with clear and vivid positive vision.
Are you colorblind?'
