Analysis of Broken Vases
E. M. Duffy 1986 (Minnesota)
Heavenly graces are
Like broken vases.
They remind us,
That things can blind us,
To the love that is behind us,
…and before us
…and in our children’s faces.
So, when He breaks your vases,
Or hopes…
Or dreams…
Or places…
Remember who he chases,
And in the end embraces.
For in life I think you’ll find
A lot of broken vases.
