Analysis of "Love In My Arms"

"Love In My Arms"

Goodness how your laughter healed me!
How your eyes filled me!
When I looked into them I always saw the man I hoped to be. That was your gift to me, you made me feel I got it right.

Happiness is more than a pleasant surprise with you, it is a constant surprise.

We traveled rough roads to each other, yet it always seemed our broken pieces fit perfectly together and made us whole.

I could kiss you forever and feel as if I would live forever, sharing your breath, traveling the universe of your eyes, holding love in my arms.

About this poem

The journey of love for me started with the most innocent of loves lost. It would take 30 years to find my way back to the innocence of that love, only to find one who was on the same journey. This time I got it right, even though the result would still be loss! Thank you Father for my Celeste'.
